Galapagos Sea Lion Takes the Stairs (Weekly Photo)

Galapagos Islands Animals, Galapagos Marine Life, Santa Cruz Island, Weekly Photo

Have you ever seen a sea lion take the stairs?

At the Aventura Lodge (Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island) you can expect to see a number of Galapagos animals – while you have breakfast. Sea lions are the guest favorites – especially when they come out of the water and climb up the stairs. In this video, you can see the sea lion walking across the desk after climbing the stairs from the water.

There are a number of sea lions who favor the deck at the Lodge – a number of times every day they come out of the water and sun themselves on the deck. It really is a great way to begin a day of Galapagos adventure.

Have you seen these guys? What did you think?
